Privacy at Nitter
Nitter keeps the public archive browseable without an account. Google Analytics measures use of public pages, while saves and workspace projects remain in this browser unless they are exported.
How privacy and browser-local data work
Google Analytics
Nitter loads standard Google Analytics when the public site opens and uses Google’s normal browser storage. Google Analytics may receive full page URLs, including query strings and URL fragments, along with page titles, browser and device details, and event metadata supplied by Nitter tools. Tool event metadata may include brief, board, or other private tool state.
Local browser data
My Saves, preferences, palette work, lesson progress, Workspace boards, and cached assets can use browser-local storage. There is no account or cloud sync.
Creative inputs and exports
Images, uploads, prompts, captions, and other generator inputs are not published to the archive or stored in a Nitter account. Export finished work and backups before browser cleanup or a device change.
Analytics boundaries
Nitter does not show a cookie consent banner or provide an analytics preference. Avoid placing sensitive personal information in URLs, briefs, boards, or tool inputs if you do not want it included in analytics measurement.
Contact
Instagram is Nitter’s only contact channel. Use the public Instagram profile for privacy questions or other requests.
